Funny, Classy, & Effective
March 5th, 2009 | Posted by Shawn HardyJack in the box decided to rebrand, and it all started with this Super Bowl spot for Jack in The Box:
The tv spots had us following Jack’s recovery here: www.hangintherejack.com/. The whole series of tv spots and other funny stuff are housed there. Here is the result, an amazing rebrand from what used to be a quirky brand.

This a great example of classy, progressive design being applied to a place where one may not expect classy and progressive. In my opinion, it works - REALLY well. What do you think? Do you miss Jack?

Shawn - I called this on Superbowl Sunday… a new look Jack in the Box had just sprung up in my neighborhood and I figured the killing off of Jack would result in a migration in design. I agree the new look IS classy. Thanks for the post and pulling all the elements of the story together.

Nice blog Shawn. Way to keep sharing stuff! I’ve never been a big Jack fan, but it’ll be interesting to see how this updated look works for them.
